Under Our Skin

Under Our Skin, a film by Andy Abrahams Wilson, has won “Official Selection” awards at many film festivals and is promoted as “a dramatic tale of microbes, medicine and money. This eye-opening film investigates the untold story of Lyme disease, an emerging epidemic larger than AIDS. Each year thousands go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, often told that their symptoms are ‘all in their head.’ ”

Under Our Skin follows the stories of patients and physicians as they struggle for their lives and livelihoods. It brings into focus a haunting picture of our health care system and its ability to cope with a silent terror under our skin.

Libraries, schools, businesses or other organizations may call the Adirondack Lyme Disease Foundation to schedule a screening at your location.
